I’m going to start this post with this video:
This is so beautiful this idea that irrespective of your regrets and mistakes, approaching what is to come with a clean “slate”.
It brings a level of acceptance to the past, yet a freshness of possibility to the future.
Most of us have had some regrets, failures, bumps or “detours” along the road that we have had to navigate through at some time in our lives (I personally, can name several!!).
Sure, there are some days in our lives that are or were tough. Really tough. It is hard to admit that you made a mistake or regret some aspect of your life.
As I look back at my own life, I see many wrong turns and mistakes. I can say this though: While tough to admit I made those mistakes (and come to terms with the consequences), those mistakes were necessary for me to find my way. Even if, through those mistakes and detours, I realized I should have ended up right where I started or on another route all together. They helped me find my way and understanding.
Whether it is myself, or people close to me, it is so inspiring, uplifting and uniting that we all have some “wrong turns” as part of our “stories”, and nonetheless continue to flow with the undercurrent, vibrancy, beauty and excitement of life!
SO here is to a CLEAN SLATE …!!
Can I just say what a relief to uncover an individual
who really knows what they are talking about online.
You definitely understand how to bring an issue to light and make it important.
More and more people have to read this and understand. You have a gift.
